Chinones and carbonyl compounds are often used as concomitant remedies together with  mistletoe-preparations. Chinones have a strong oxidative potential, which is needed to clean the tissues from toxins, that are bound at the mycelia of the mesenchyme. After oxydation these toxins can be removed over the lymphatic system. The bad utilization of oxygene in the partially or totally blocked mesenchyme leads to the partial deficiency of oxygene in the tissue. This deficiency is abrogated through the supply of chinones.

According to Prof. Domagk the mutation of the cells is positively affected by chinone-therapy. The cell respiration is advanced, mutative changes within the cells are dissipated. Chinone charge all kinds of excrete mechanisms. Because of this the excretion organs have to be supported during chinone-therapies. Also chinones work as respiratory catalysts.
